How South Piedmont CC uses OER

The NCCCLA OER Task Force invites you to join us for an online session with Dana Glauner, Director of Library Services, and Shelby Beard, Information Services Librarian as they share how South Piedmont CC uses OER.

South Piedmont Community College, a 2023 Top 10 Bellwether Award finalist, has proven its dedication to equity and student success through their “Learning Reimagined” project. Part of that project included incorporating OER (open educational resources) as much as possible throughout the curriculum. Join us as we hear from Dana Glauner and Shelby Beard and learn how their campus uses OER. There will be plenty of time for Q&A after their brief presentation.

OER Share & Learn

OER Share and Learn, Friday, October 27, 2023, 9:30-10:30 a.m. Online. Presented by the NCCCLA OER Taskforce. Members will receive info about how to join the meeting via MemberPlanet e-mail.

The NCCCLA OER Taskforce invites you to attend an informal “Share and Learn” online session on Friday, October 27, 2023, from 9:30-10:30 a.m. We will start the session with a very brief intro to OER and the OER Taskforce. Most of the session will be open for informal sharing and Q&A. We want to know what is going on with OER at your campus. What OER resources have been particularly helpful to you or your faculty? In what areas do you feel you need assistance or extra support? Our hope is that no matter your level of familiarity with OER, you will come away with something new…new knowledge, new resources, and new connections!

Current NCCCLA members will receive information about how to join the meeting via MemberPlanet e-mail.
