Welcome to NCCCLA’s 2022 Conference, You Me We Belong. This year’s conference will once again be virtual and will take place during March 14-18, 2022, including a day of preconference sessions.
Theme
This year’s theme, You Me We Belong, focuses on encouraging sustainable changes in community college libraries that promote diversity, equity, and inclusion for all who utilize our library spaces. We welcome proposals that support our theme, however, if you have an idea for a session proposal that does not seem to fit the theme, we encourage you to submit it anyway. Please think about how diversity, equity, and inclusion concerns may have influenced your work or how such actions might fit into the next steps for your project.
Sessions
Session slots are 50 minutes long, and the suggested presentation time is 40-45 minutes, with 5-10 minutes of Q&A. Fifteen minute prerecorded poster sessions are an option to consider as well. All sessions will be presented via Zoom. The conference planning committee will provide training and practice opportunities with the software prior to the conference. Collaborative presentations and roundtables are encouraged too.
Submit a Session Proposal – Deadline is Monday, January 31, 2022
